FAQ Should Vitrail colors be applied vertically or horizontally ? When applying Vitrail, it is recommended to have a horizontal surface. The product is very fluid and horizontal application allows for a thicker layer, thus providing greater color depth with no risk of drips. Vertical application is also possible. The best option is to have plexiglass cut to the size of your windows, work with the Vitrail colors horizontally on your table and after drying, place the plexiglass against your window on the inside. The best effect is achieved by placing the decoration between the window and the plexiglass. If you have worked with Relief Outliner, it will flatten slightly and give a beautiful effect (imitation lead strip).
How resistant is a Vitrail application on a bathroom mirror ? The use of Vitrail paint in humid rooms such as bathrooms is not recommended. Great durability cannot be guaranteed in this case, as the film may gradually lose its shine.

The drops spread on contact with the water and create amazing effects. Then transfer the color by applying a sheet of acetate or the object of your choice onto the colored surface. As soon as the color settles on the surface, remove it immediately.
Should the decorated object be fired once dry ? No, absolutely not ! Vitrail colors are not fired. Once dry, they have good hardness and are resistant to gentle washing in cold water without soaking, as well as to glass cleaners.

How can the paint be thinned if it seems too thick ? Add a little odorless mineral spirits and stir carefully.
