| • For airbrush use, colors can be used without prior dilution except for metallic colors : rich gold, pale gold and silver which are highly concentrated, it is therefore recommended to dilute them in a minimum ratio of 50% Colorex / 50% water for a more homogeneous result. | |
| • The Colorex range can be applied on different surfaces : ideally on watercolor paper, other types of paper, bristol board, cardboard... | |
| • To preserve color intensity, illustrations can be protected with Pébéo anti-UV varnish specially recommended for the Colorex range. | |
| • Colorex markers are refilled directly with the pipette from 45ml Colorex bottles (registered patent n° FR21/12005) : 1. Draw up a pipette of Colorex ink. 2. Load the pipette directly into the marker through the black valve. Full charge = 5 pipettes. Wipe off any excess ink around the valve if necessary. Wait a few minutes for the nib to absorb the ink. 3. The marker is ready to use. 4. After use, clip the cap firmly to prevent the nib from drying out, and store the marker horizontally. | |
| • The Colorex marker can be refilled with 56 colors from the Colorex color chart. White and metallic colors rich gold, pale gold and silver are not compatible due to their pigmented composition. | |
| • To extend the use of Colorex markers, it is possible to change the nib using the available refill nib sachet : 1. Remove the used nib with the tool's pliers. 2. Place the new nib in the tool's cavity. 3. Push the nib into the marker until the tool reaches its stop. | |
